We had a wonderful Christmas party, we ate delicious food, played party games and then a very special surprise visitor popped in to see us. He brought us some wonderful gifts, for having such a great first term in F1 and F2.

Foundation 2 have performed a come and See Assembly to their parents and the rest of the School. We sang two songs and passed the cross around very carefully. It was quite heavy and we managed it by all working together.

The children and staff went to Church to Baptize Charlotte our doll. Deacon Pater told us that it is correct to refere to this sacrament as either Babtism or Christening. Charlotte was very good in Church. When we got back to school we had a celebration cake and some lemonade.

On November 17th  the Children in F2 will be going on a trip to Kings Park in Retford. We will be considering the jobs of a Park Keeper. Hopefully we will see some wildlife and a play park, some ducks and Percy the Park Keeper's shed.

 

Please make sure your child has a warm coat, suitable shoes or boots. They must wear their school uniform. I will be taking plenty of hot chocolate and the children will have their milk before they depart. There is no need for water bottles on that day
